This novel, written by David Arnold provoked me a lot of feelings, from boredom to curiosity, from joy to sadness, from knowing what will happen, I got to be surprised by the turn of events. This book teaches us how to leave your home and leave everything behind, how you will handle it and how you can go through. I can’t say that I liked it as much as other books read by me, but it is worth grade 8/10 because, sometimes, I did not understand why certain things must happen as the author wrote them and finally, the story became a bit boring. Mim e nevoită să se mute în celălalt colț al țării împreună cu tatăl și noua lui soție. Când află că mama ei e bolnavă, Mim fuge de-acasă, hotărâtă să străbată cei 1524 de kilometri care o despart de ea. Drumul nu e doar lung, ci se dovedește și dificil de străbătut, căci întâlnirile și confruntările cu diverse personaje și propriii demoni o pun la grea încercare. Acest roman scris de David Arnold mi-a provocat o mulțime de sentimente, de la plictiseală la curiozitate, de la bucurie la tristețe, de la a știi ce se va întâmpla, am ajuns să rămân surprinsă de întorsătura evenimentelor. Această carte te învață cum ar fi să pleci de acasă și să lași totul în urmă, cum te vei descurca, peste ce oameni vei da și prin ce peripeții poți trece. Nu pot spune că mi-a plăcut la fel de mult ca alte cărți citite de mine, însă merită nota 8 pentru că uneori nu înțelegeam de ce anumite lucruri trebuie să se întâmple așa cum le-a surprins autorul și înspre sfârșit, povestea a devenit un pic cam plictisitoare. Atunci, cam știam la ce să mă aștept. Însă, până aproape de final, cartea merită citită. Cine a parcurs-o, lăsați un comentariu cu părerea voastră despre lectură și despre articolul meu!
